This is a story of revenge: harsh, brutally executed, brilliantly delivered, revenge. There is also a good bit about reinventing yourself through education, overcoming incredible odds, remorse and finally redemption; but really it’s all about revenge. There are also pirates, a love story, and a secret to unravel. If the size of this tome is intimidating I’ll let you in on a secret- the abridged version might be even better than the unabridged in this case, all the important action with all the extra stuff cut out.
