the main character's stutter going in and out so across this entire series is so silly. the whole thing smacks of "she's all that" - but I guess there needs to be a reason for Evie to be a wallflower in the first place. this was an interesting look at redeeming a true villain but I have to say, using "you might threaten to rape someone but you never would" as a line of affirmation is mad
