Talberlicious has done it again. *claps*

I’m going to try and leave a spoiler free review, since the author generously provided me with an ARC in exchange for a review. But WHEW DOGGY.

What. A. Ride.

Nobody does President x Secret Service better than Tal. He blends politics, intrigue, romance and suspense SO seamlessly and I’m constantly in awe of this man’s talent. His characters are so developed and the plots are… I mean, I really don’t have any words. Perfection doesn’t seem like enough.

Reese and Brennan were a whirlwind from the very beginning. The imagery Tal paints with his words brought this couple to life. And this book did something different that I don’t see a lot: it went back and forth from the past to the present. This was a SUPERB choice on Tal’s part. The way he was able to build the suspense but show us how Reese and Brennan’s relationship grew and developed was *chef’s kiss*

I’d also like to say this is the first time, out of all of Tal’s books, that I had the ending figured out before the reveal.
