The American Roommate Experiment by Elena Armas

5.0

This book is the hug we didn’t know we needed.

Elena Armas has done it again, but this time I think she’s done it even better (which I didn’t realize was possible).

This slowburn romance is filled with so much tension, friendship, longing, and fun adventures that I couldn’t help but swoon right alongside Rosie.

From fake dating to forced proximity (they become roommates you guys!!!!), this book had everything. Rosie and Lucas become each other’s confidante and their closeness is the true hug of this book. I genuinely cannot think of a better way to describe it. I felt like it hugged me, I wanted to hug it, and I felt the need to hug everything and everyone I could reach upon finishing it.

I couldn’t get enough of this book and I already wish I could read it again for the first time. I was only about halfway through when I knew the book hangover was going to hit me hard with this one – and I was so right.

Please check out this beautiful creation. You won’t be sorry.
