My Sister, the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite
A sharp and gripping story about two sisters in Lagos (one who indiscriminately kills men) and how the smart/pretty tropes pressed upon young girls psychologically manifest in reaction to the patriarchy. It didn't go where I expected and was deeply psychological and very well done. And got me out of a reading slump.
