HOLYYYYYY HOLYYYYYY

my mind is racing, my heart is pounding, and I seriously have no friggin idea what I just read!!! she lives up to the hype people!!!!

when lowen is hired to be the newest ghost writer for the best-selling novels by verity crawford, she has only one question in mind: why me. her mom just died, her landlord evicted her, and virtually no one reads her books. but when verity is left in a coma after a car accident, lowen finds herself in verity’s office, submersing herself in verity’s life to get in her mindset. what she finds, however, is one big mindf*ck.

I’m so happy I went into this one blind. I knew it was a super hyped up book, and those always make me nervous when I’m reading them. however, I’m proud to report that I also went through a bit of mindf*ck while reading this one.

when lowen starts to feel like she’s going mental, so did I. when lowen starts to get obsessed with verity, so did I. coho strikes again at the beautiful writing that just draws you in and snags you, no matter if it’s a romance or a thriller.

I adored the creepy elements (and that’s about all I could take because shannon does not do horror), and I LOVE LOVE LOVE how it’s up to the reader to decide what the truth is at the end. :’)
