I was so excited to read this because I loved Elise Bryant's previous books. However it didn't have the same level of escapism as the previous books. I think a lot of that had to do with me loving the settings of the previous books so much. I also didn't really love Reggie as much as the guys in the previous books. I didn't like that the main problem with their relationship was that he was so dishonest with Delilah. His redemption was cute but it still didn't sit right with me. I loved Delilah though and Ryan and Leela. I will say I did like Delilah and Reggie's dynamic where they could be silly with each other and have fun. I liked the music aspect a lot too. I think honestly a reason I didn't like Reggie as much as I hoped I would is because something about him reminded me of someone in my own life and not in a good way. But that's a me problem. I also loved Georgia and even though she was younger than Delilah she was so smart and I loved their sister relationship. Charlie and Asher are complete jerks and I'm so glad Delilah realized that. I really love how much character development Delilah has in this. This book was slightly disappointing but I'm still looking forward to reading the next book this author releases.
