It really was exactly the book I wanted it to be, and I truly didn’t expect to feel so attached to El, but I cried over every tiny crack in her defenses and her slow trust in her friends. Orion is exactly as head strong, endearing, and oblivious as his obvious literary counterpart, and it’s so satisfying to see him in the book he deserves.
