A Sucker for Christmas by J.P. Sayle

4.0

I liked this story a lot! Every book in the series so far has had a very different take on tentacles, which, as someone who has never read this subset of paranormal before, has surprised me and kept these books very interesting. The relationship between Shaun and Fitch was really well written. It was easy to see how much they cared for each other and how comfortable they were with each other as best friends, which made how awkward their transition to becoming more that much more believable. Poor Fitch was so afraid to reveal himself and Shaun was in denial about his feelings for Fitch, and it was just a big mess. Thank goodness for pushy, interfering sisters. I liked that the main characters didn't have to drag out their woes, instead having all of their problems essentially solved by the well-intentioned meddling of Shaun's sister. No one had to wallow in this book, because she was ready with the solutions, and I really loved that.
