I loved how this reimagined Jane eyre but it was disappointing. It was too horror for my taste and the romance was not compelling at all. I was more interested in the complex father-daughter relationship than the romance. Overall I felt meh by this book it wasn't amazing but it wasn't terrible it was okay.
