It was a beautifully written story about tragedy, grief, adultery and guilt. It evokes the reader to question if you ever really know someone and what they're capable of. Cecilia has the the "prefect" life until she finds a letter from her husband that she is supposed to open upon his death. The secret contained in his letter ultimately crashes several lives as they know it. When it all comes to a climax, all that remains is grief and tragedy. The author does a good job of developing each character and interweaving their stories together. The writing is simple and clean and conveys the story perfectly. Each character's story was easy to follow and the character's problems were relatable to every day life. This was my first Moriarty book but I am looking forward to my next read from this author.
