When you get offered a copy of EM Lindsey’s latest release you don’t say no. Even if it means you need to read 4 other books in a week to get caught up, despite already being swamped with books to read. And I don’t regret it for a minute. Each book in this series was better than the last. We won’t discuss the sadness that is the fact that this is the final book in the series though.
Rory and Nate aren’t members of the Broken Chains, but their lives are intricately woven into it. We’ve met them a lot along the way, but finding out about their shared history was fascinating, and filled some gaps we’ve been missing. Rory is smart, sarcastic, fiercely independent, and hella brave. He may be blind, but that’s never held him back and he always gets what he wants. And right now he wants two things. Hydra in the ground, and Nate in his life.
They’ve got more than a few years between them and a long history. Nate is stoic, complicated, and not sure he deserves love. Especially from Rory. It’s getting hard to deny his feelings for this amazing man, but before that can happen they had to end this business with Hydra, and Rory’s plan to deal with it is risky.
These two make a fantastic couple and complement each other really well. Love them a lot, and they made a terrific final story.
