This was real treat because it gave us that all-too-rare story where we got to follow an established couple and enjoy them being happy together. That is not to say that our characters don’t have to go through some stuff in this story but they are just so good together and it is really nice to see couples working together as a team for common goals. Following two characters who appeared as side characters in book 1 and they enter into a relationship gave a nice balance of being able to get the excitement from the first flurries of love.

I enjoyed the way that this book expanded the vampire lore and furthered the fantasy plot that was established in book 1.

I look forward to reading the final book in the trilogy but feel kinda sad that it is coming to an end.
