Just Don’t Fall by Emma St. Clair is a FANTASTIC Contemporary Rom-Com. I loved every single second of this story and flew through the pages. I’m surprised I didn’t get a papercut. LOL! The characters are so endearing. Parker is the best. She is one of those pretty girls who doesn’t actually know she is pretty. Parker is also so selfless, she would literally give you her coffee if you asked. That’s one selfless woman! And she is SO funny. She had me chuckling the whole time. I think my favorite aspect of her character is her “Bossy” quality. The way she brings big, strapping, powerful hockey players together as a team via fun bonding videos is great. Logan is a superb hero. I appreciate how he finally sees how great Parker is, and then he grows and changes into the sort of hero she needs. I love how he becomes a team player (not just to Parker, but to his team as well), and how he breaks through the walls he has built around his heart and emotions. And I really, really love how protective he is of Parker. That’s my Achilles heel. I will swoon every single time the hero of a story is a big, protective smooshy heart! As far as the relationship between Parker and Logan goes, it is so good. The chemistry is palpable and the kisses are amazing. Poor Parker has been in love with Logan since she was a young teen. Logan’s a little late to the party, but he catches up. While I do feel the “fake” relationship aspect to their relationship is done well, I did wish it had ended sooner than it does. It was agony. I wanted to yell at both Parker and Logan, “Speak your truth! Tell him you love him! Tell her you love her!” I guess, in this regard, this book is highly interactive (LOL!). All in all, I really loved this story. It’s a great start to what I am sure will be a wonderful series!

Just Don’t Fall is an excellent story, one I highly recommend. If you enjoy well-written, funny, and super sweet Rom-Coms filled with swoony moments that make your reader-heart happy, then you have to get a copy of this book ASAP!
