Edge of Control by M. Walker
4.5
Do you like your men to have some questionable morals? Like to wonder how they could possibly find a happy ending when an investigator falls in love with the very killer he’s chasing?
M. Walker keeps us on edge almost to the end while also making us fall in love with both of them and desperately trying to figure out how they could possibly make it all work.
Theo is an especially dark serial killer - but you understand him all the same. You should want to hate him…
Jace is a lovely guy, though a little lost. Searching for his new path in life after some devastating losses and struggling with some mental health issues. Finding love helps heal some hurts, while also bringing its own complications.
Thankfully these two find a way to have a future together and I believe it will be a happy one (and hopefully murder free!).
