It was Sunday afternoon and I wanted to binge read a thriller. I had a quick scroll through my kindle and this one fit the bill. The premise drew me in and just as I hoped, I had finished it in a few hours.

The first chapter had me hooked and it didn’t let me go. I kind of feel like I guessed the twist, which never happens, because I keep reading reviews raving about the twist but there didn’t seem to be a huge revelation.

This didn’t put me off or ruin the experience for me because the atmosphere of the whole book was creepy af. It was the perfect read to get me excited for autumn.
