The Prince by Francine Rivers gave me more understanding of Jonathan’s life. I definitely found myself wanting to be more like Jonathan; he was constantly praying, he always stood up for what he believed in, and he loved people around him who were difficult to love. I will definitely read 1 and 2 Samuel differently, and with more understanding, in the future. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I am rating it 4 stars.
