I am hesitant to admit that I’m not very familiar with the Pride & Predigest story so I was unsure about reading this but I really enjoyed this retelling.

I like this story but wish there was a bit more interaction between Lizzy and Will. It felt like there was some tension but lots of “dislike” and then all of a sudden not and some long distance lusting and then love.

There were a lot of side characters and stories but I was able to keep them straight throughout the book. Some were less necessary than others.

The cameo of Emma and George was cute and will push me to read their book soon.
