Dolores Claiborne by Stephen King
5.0
I listened to the audiobook version of this and it was amazing. The narrator is perfect (Frances Sternhagen) and made it both funny and very empathetic at the same time. The way I felt this woman's misery was profound and you just want to see her do well in her life. I feel horrible for any women who face such a decision and situation whether real or imagined and my empathy for their situation made this book even more captivating to me. I think this is my favourite Stephen King novel that I've gotten to so far and I'm looking forward to more.
