Love at First Book by Jenn McKinlay
4.0
An American librarian moves to Ireland in order to work with her favorite author in the coziest bookshop ever, the owner of which just happens to be the Irishman of her dreams. This seems too good to be true, but she does have mother issues to deal with, and the relationship with the bookshop owner starts off on the wrong foot.
Love at First Book has the perfect setting. The vivid descriptions of the bookshop (with a cafe!) made me desperate to have my own. And the romance is so sweet it made me swoon. As a cozy literary themed romance, this is excellent, though I do wish it were a bit longer. Also, why is there a cat on the cover even though no cats are mentioned in the book and why don’t the people on the cover fit the descriptions of the characters… Obviously not faults of the writer, but things that annoy me.
