Raven: Part Two by Virginia Kelly, Piper Scott
5.0
This was such a great ending to an amazing series and I am so sad to say goodbye. Bertram and Sorin (especially) had such a heartbreaking story for a great cause and had to put their love and family second without ever knowing if they would succeed or they would survive.
Peregrine remains my favorite character in the series. He has such compassion and understanding, even with the trauma and loss he has endured, inadvertently at the hands of Bertram and Sorin. He really plays such a pivotal role in merging the families back together and smoothing everything out the best it can be.
Their arrival in Aurora was so sweet and made me so happy. And the epilogue was so heartwarming with the entire family and the new guard.
I would have loved to see more of Sorin and Bertram’s first clutch honestly. The only one we got any time with was Piers, we know next to nothing about the others. Even a second epilogue would have been great. But I also don’t want to leave Aurora so I’m probably grasping at straws.
I received an advanced copy from GRR in exchange for my honest review.
