After loving the show I had to check out the books that inspired it all! It was different from the show in ways that I wasn't expecting but the show feels like a more modernized version of the first book. The show and the book feel incomparable to me since they both went about their own ways to tell the story and I ended up enjoying both. Overall this book was so fun. It made me smile, it made me cry, and it's a book I'll be returning to in the future. Can't wait to see what happens in book two!
