Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi Adeyemi
3.0
I loved the ending.
I hated the direction these characters went it. The first book was a quest and a journey and Amari, Zelie, and Inan just grow so much. It was magical. Now a few set backs in, this book threw all that character development out the window. Tragedy changes people and these characters lost so much but some decisions just did not make any sense.
This was disheartening. I'm still going to read the next book.
