Holy freaking creatures!!! This is packed full of pure writing fantasticness! I devoured this book from beginning to end. Locklyn is just trying to survive in this creature filled world while she on the other hand has yet to develop any powers. She is been crushing on her best friends brother, Beck, for far too long but he must mate to a strong powerful creature which sadly she isn't. When the opportunity to join the mysterious Chaos game with the chance to get power and finally not feel less than other how could she not cross that line. This is more to these games then she bargained for though life and futures may just be on the line so what cost will she be willing to pay. Also throw in the new guy, Talon, who seems to be hiding many secrets and seems to always be there for Locklyn when she needs him despite Beck's clear dislike for him. Oh and let me know for get we all need a friend like Ensley who convince you commit blackmail and magic away your bruises. You will be hooked with that secrets of Talons', who is behind the Chaos games, will they wont they moments, and the tension!!! WARNING!!! The ending is a major cliff hard that will be ripping your heart from your chest. Support groups are here waiting to help.
