The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars, Part Two by Michael Dante DiMartino
5.0
Well this book managed to make the conflict I thought would not be very engaging into something extremely intense. I feel like my feelings on this volume would change depending on how volume 3 plays out since this is a lot of build. The Mako and Bolin sections weren't my utter favorite but came together in the end in a satisfying way. There is still a nice number of queer moments here but the focus leaves the queer world building and that is a bit of a shame. I kinda wish that was what we got in the parts of the story where Mako and Bolin were but I get them wanting to use their main cast. Still I ended up feeling totally griped and needing to pre order volume 3 so there is that.
