Heartbreak Is the National Anthem: How Taylor Swift Reinvented Pop Music by Rob Sheffield

informative lighthearted fast-paced

3.0

Fun book about one of it's biggest stars. I'm not a Swiftie but I love books like this and found it interesting. I still don't understand all of the Swift lore, and that's fine.

I do wish it had talked more specifically about how she changed pop music as the title suggested. It didn't do that at all, so that was disappointing. But I did learn some things and it was a quick read and honestly was fun, which I needed at this moment in time.
