Mysterious and brutal murders. Elite artists in San Francisco that are out for blood. Literally. I originally was confused when I picked up the book because all I ever understood about the series was that it was a dark romance. Well, it didn’t hit romance until about 100 or so pages in. Cole is a murderer who uses his victim’s body parts in his multimillion dollar sculptures. Alastor just maimes his victims and despises Cole. So what happens when Cole finds a girl in the woods bound and bleeding out because of Alastor? He falls in love with her of course.
