This novel had so many of my favorite things! A fairytale retelling, organized crime, unexpected pregnancy, and found family.

I really enjoyed this book. There were some things that took me out of the story like, it was slightly overly cliche and the pacing of the story felt rushed.

I'm intrigued by this family now. I can't wait to read the other books in the series.
