This was a quick read but interesting as it talks briefly about 52 times when history hasn’t necessarily focused on recording the whole truth about what actually happened.
Nothing changes really - rich, white (mostly English but occasionally broader British) have done exactly what they want, regardless of how their actions might affect others ( generally some mix of poor, female, indigenous). Yes, Britain may have achieved some great things throughout history but, as a nation, we’ve been pretty brutal and certainly are not in a position to judge others.
