Have Me Forever by Ally Blythe

Did not finish book. Stopped at 23%.
I loved the set up for this book, which is getting together with an (ex)girlfriend's dad. But the two main characters were created to be utterly blameless in every way. It was apparently double bi-awakening, where the dad was a teenage father, so wasn't TOO much older than his daughter, but somehow has become a successful professor and author without any setbacks from being a teen parent. Eli is a saint of an eldest son who is basically stalked by his parents who track his phone and need to know his whereabouts and company at all times. Eli is very shy, but somehow the pursuer in the relationship (bc that looks better, I'm sure.) It was basically these two perfect characters and most everyone else in the book was out to get them or something?
