Deadly Decisions by Kathy Reichs
medium-paced
2.5
This book in the series was just okay to me. I prefer the books with the character Ryan in them and in a more prominent way. This story followed the story of Temperance and her nephew. She was in between two cases and trying to find the identities of folks who were dead, and she was helping law enforcement on a case that dealt with a dangerous biker gang. She did this all while taking care of her nephew, who put her on a pedestal, and when she navigated from the pedestal he put her on, he was difficult to engage with. It was their banter that made this book not enjoyable for me. I enjoyed the part of the book where Temperance was showing people how to map a crime scene using quadrants to go through evidence to find remains that were relevant to the case she was working on with local law enforcement.
