This book came highly recommended on BookTok as one that will completely wreck you—and wow, it delivered. By the end, I was a full-on blubbering mess. The story itself was gripping, but honestly, it felt like this family just couldn’t catch a break—one heartbreak after another. That said, it does wrap up with a happy ending, so there’s some light at the end of the tunnel. If you’re planning to dive into this one, make sure you have a box of tissues close by. You’ll need them.
