oh yeah this is the book I needed to read!!!!

I’m not a huge sci-fi reader so when I do, it has to be super capturing of my attention - AND BOY DID THIS ONE EXCEED ALL OF MY EXPECTATIONS!!! 🤯

blake crouch’s books always go back to the same notion - technology is our greatest accomplishment but also our greatest downfall. and I love his creativity on how the advancements made can ultimately become the world’s demise.

the story itself takes place between multiple timelines as scientist helena develops a chair to restore memories for alzheimer’s patients, but her financial backer decides to use it for his own personal gain (which of course fucks everything up 🙄)

this definitely felt like a mashup of edge of tomorrow and minority report 😅 so if you’re into moral questioning of society mixed with the ability to travel timelines, GIVE THIS ONE A GO!

this is my favorite of blake crouch’s so far, and I’m always so intrigued to see what brilliant story he comes up with next!
