These books aren't awful... but they aren't great.

I genuinely think that I would not have gotten this far into the series, or even finished book 1, if I did not already love the characters. The diversity and tension just hits so much better in the TV show, so I do think I'm going to stick to watching that over the books.

Sorry not sorry. Nothing beats Netflix's Kathani Sharma (aka the love of my life).
