Better Than Fiction by Alexa Martin

This one was... rough.

I found myself so annoyed with the heroine throughout the book. First of all, how much time did you need to wax poetic about how HOT Jasper is??? Like girl... pull yourself together, he's just a man.

And then Jasper is literally the cardboard cutout Perfect Man. I was BORED TO TEARS, I'm sorry. Could not get even the slightest bit invested in him as a hero or them as a couple.

And lastly: the drama with her dad? For what?! There was no ending or resolution. Same with her half-sister! I completely forgot about Daisy until she randomly sprang up at the end in a cameo appearance. Why introduce her and create this backstory of "we weren't raised together / we have no realtionship / clearly Daisy is trying / lets try to be friends" if you won't have her in the book??
