Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone by Benjamin Stevenson

An aspiring Australian crime writer who writes crime-writing guides attends a family reunion in a remote frozen location and people die. It's intricate and creative and overwritten, like every other book published today. The narrator breaks the fourth wall which is a fun gimmick until it isn't. I'm going to leave you with this:

1) I did not guess the final twist(s). Well done.
2) There are a dozen characters I advise grabbing a firm grasp of in the beginning.
3) I need appropriate reactions to horrible behavior. I welcome all the bad behavior. But what's the point if everyone just blinks and says okay?
