thank you for the free arc in exchange for an honest review! unfortunately, i did not love this novel. i've never heard of sophie before, but she came highly recommended as a well loved YA author. i really loved the entire premise of the novel, and who doesn't love a good revenge story? to me, the main characters only had that in common: they shared an ex, and some sort of desire for revenge. outside of that, i couldn't tell you anything about their personalities. the writing felt awkward, forced and downright lazy at times. i think if this book had been adult as opposed to young adult, there would have been more flexibility with the story that would've really made this shine. the end wasn't my favorite, but +1 for the taylor swift reference. i would be willing to try another of her books!
