Honestly, aspects of this story were even less believable than its predecessor. Like a lot less!! But this time around, I committed to the near-fantasy aspect. (A double lavender marriage is hard to believe especially for the era). But I ate this up. Also, I prefer enemies to lovers more than friends to lovers - sue me!
