The Yellow Wall-Paper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman

2.0

This story was just ok for me. It was really interesting to read being that it was published in 1892 and the writing style is very different, but overall I just didn't really get it. It's very sad, it's clear the narrator is suffering from some sort of postpartum depression or other mental issues, and is constantly told by her physician husband that she's fine and just needs rest. The fascination with the wallpaper was also interesting, but aside from her pulling it off the walls I didn't really understand what was happening at the end
