First, It was quite enjoyable for me, but not the one's that gave me best reading experience.
I used to be skeptical when a book marketed as prideful fmc, but STZ did it well I guess.
My bf love LOVESSS three kingdoms, so I was so excited to devour this. He told me a lot abt it.
Turned out, Im still very confuse at first 😂 it gets better overtime, tho.

Things I like:
- The sassy Zephyr
- PLOT TWIST
- The strategies delivered
- Crows' antiques
Things I don't really enjoy:
- I like Zephyr the way she was. The big reveal was a turn off for me. It made the power unbalance. So, I get the feeling she wasn't earn her way as I imagined her to be. She couldn't really owned the risk of her choices.
- The writing style wasn't my favourite. It was really personal preference, tho. Don't mind. It just doesn't work for me.
- Inconsistent pace. I get so sleepy in the middle of the story and it wasn't as action packed as I imagine it to be.
I have lots of questions and hopefully the 2nd book live up to that😍
I love the world building and I know the author knows what she's doing with all the research, reference, and efforts. I can feel it. This is a work out of love. Give this book a go❣️
