Holy cow. I read the original version of this story the same morning that I then devoured the rewrite and, oh man...what a transformation. And I'm not talking about the werewolf shifters this story features.nim talking about plot, characters, settings, the whole shebang!

The original story was short, sharp, and had a quick setup to the spice but the rewrite ... Dang!

I adored the main characters and loved the new storyline and story progression. We got to see the steaminess grow and grow throughout the pages of the book and it truly shocked me how phenomenally a short story that I had just read hours earlier could be transformed into such an amazing novella.

Spice, steam, hunky werewolves, a badass spunky heroine, slow-burn romance, gorgeous prose, wonderful character voice, a beautifully dark fantasy world...I could have asked for more.
