This was my first Nat Cassidy book; I’m also newer to reading horror. The trigger warnings were very specific at the beginning and I was glad they were included.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book from start to finish. I remember being immediately grossed out and wanting more after the first chapter. The family dynamics of the story mixed with the constant “wtf” of The Deptford were so engaging and kept me hooked. Definitely adding Cassidy’s other work to my TBR in 2025.
