This is the 7th book in the Nikki Hunt series; each book can be read as a standalone.Nikki is an excellent FBI agent. She somehow manages to balance being a mum and an agent which is no easy job!In this book Nikki and the team are investigating the case of two very young missing girls. Missing children always pulls right at the heart strings and all you want is for them to be home safely. There were so many secrets going on in this book. From the parents to Nikki's partner it seemed everyone had something to hide. The story was intense and you constantly felt like time was running out. I was on the edge of my seat from the beginning until the very end.This was an excellent addition to the series. If you are looking for a police procedural that will keep you engaged and turning page after page then this is for you.
