This novel is beautiful and enticing from the very start. It was easy to get caught up in the world of Dellecher Classical Conservatory and Oliver's mind due to how articulate the author is. Their writing style is one of my favorite parts of this novel. The rest of the characters were so interesting as individuals and I enjoyed how we were able to see different sides of them shown throughout. This book reminded me a lot of The Secret History except it was much easier to get through and a lot less emotionally taxing. I'm eager to reread this since there were a few twists I did not see coming although I think they were alluded to.
