The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker
5.0
Another book review that is coming a year after reading:
This is really one of my favorite small town reads. Hear me out, but I have never in my life wanted to live in alaska, become an outside-y white woman, pilot an alaskan plane, and wear sperry boots with thick white socks coming out of them before as bad as I did when reading this book. It's the only way i know how to explain what I felt while reading this. It was so immersive for a small town book, cause usually my mind would immediately be like "Absolutely not" when reading small town romances, espeically those in colder/rugged climates like the Alaskan Wild (small towns are a hell no from me in general) but THIS? yeah this was eatinggg. All of a sudden I need to visit Alaska at least once in my lifetime, and I have no idea how, when, or why but I'll figure it out in due time.
I also really enjoyed the plot and the city girl to nature loving gal pipeline, because it truly could never be me. Calla and Jonah >>>>>>> YES. 100000% yes. This was such a feel good read, highly recommend.
