I loved the concept, but the execution tired me out, which is how I also felt with Saramago's other book "Blindness" and why that one too got 3 stars. I enjoyed "Death with Interruptions" more though. The beginning was great, the middle dragged on and became tedius, but then it picked up again. I loved the ending! I will continue reading Saramago even though I expect his writing style to drag on in some parts and tire me. I still enjoy the stories and concepts.
