It’s the kind of stream of consciousness where at one point you just want to lean in, close the tap, and say “stop.”
I’ll give Notley another chance, but I really don’t get the defense she’s getting for this one. Breaking the mould, going against the standard to create something completely new is great, but, no, it doesn’t always work out.
