There was a lot I liked about this book. It's a M/M romance with BDSM, death of a family member, British characters/setting, and very hot sex. My favorite part though is one main character being nearly 40. Laurie is 37 and Toby is 19. I LOVE that Toby was so sure of what he wanted while also admitting he wasn't sure of how to get it. I love that Laurie gave him a chance and space to figure things out even though they both stumbled more than once. Laurie is older and seemingly more mature, but so far from perfect. AH did a great job in making him human and real in a way that a lot of authors miss when writing younger characters. I loved their love story even though it made me cry. I will definitely be buying more books in this series, luckily it seems they can be read out of order. I really hope we get Jasper's story at some point.
