I love this series so much. The perfect combination of cozy mystery and literary fiction in a delightful setting with believable characters. It is surprising that an idyllic town in the Carolina's would boast more than 5 murders over a several week span. But this is the same suspension of disbelief that we offer to British cozy mystery series. And the writing is good enough that I'm happily willing to overlook that detail.
