Dark Matter by Blake Crouch
5.0
This is one of the wildest, most satisfying sci-fi books I've read in a long time!
I started off wondering if I would be disappointed, because I thought I knew the premise right away in those first chapters. I had no idea how mind-blowing and amazing it would get.
The Jason Dessen we get to know is an admirable character from start to finish. I really loved his commitment to family and that the choices of who and how we love were central themes. Ultimately, all the success in the world didn't compare to a life well-lived in relationship with others.
I've had the wildest dreams while devouring this book and my mind has been going non-stop. I saw a video on the double slit experiment years ago and have been fascinated ever since. I'm curious to read more actual science about this now.
Overall, a fantastic read... one of the best in a couple of years for me.
